The Invitation sailboat was originally manufactured by Bombardier in Quebec. Since its early conception the moulds have changed hands several times. The boat is made out of fiberglass and performs well with one, two or three people on board. The sail is loose footed and has no battens. It is a good handling boat but the cockpit is rather shallow which makes for discomfort on lengthy sails. However the shallow cockpit more or less eliminates the need for a bailer.
