The Sandpiper 565 is a stylish sloop with four berth accommodation for weekending, either afloat or as a waterside home. It is responsive and easy to handle under sail or power, sturdy and seaworthy in all weathers. It has a retractable lead-ballasted keel which lowers straight down by a Naval Bronze jack screw. When raised fully it allows the boat to be beached. Exhaustive swamp tests prove that even filled with water the Sandpiper can support four adults and equipment.
