The Force V is made out of fiberglass and presently manufactured by a U.S. company. We do not sell new ones but we do get the odd used one in. The boat was named after the kind of wind she thrives on 17-21 knots on the sailor's beaufort scale. The boat has a loose-footed sail with center sheeting and features a boom vang, outhaul and downhaul that are adjustable from both the port and the starboard side. This makes rigging the boat a little more complicated. But it comes in handy when you are going fast and hanging out and reaching in on either side. The mast comes in three sections for easy transportation.
