Rick and Ria are the owners of Quiet Waters Sailboats.
Both born in the Netherlands, Rick and Ria emigrated to Canada with their son Wim in 2002. After working for a few different companies to get started in their new country, they learned about the great opportunity available at Quiet Waters Sailboats and made some inquiries.
After working for a season alongside the previous owner of Quiet Waters, there was no doubt in their mind this was the place for them.
With an abundance of sailing experience in the Netherlands and some business experience in a different field Rick and Ria are ready and eager to serve the long list of satisfied customers of Quiet Waters. They are also ready and eager to serve each and every new customer no matter how small his or her needs may be.
Except for bringing a new vigor and new ideas on how to streamline and improve the business, Rick and Ria operate Quiet Waters Sailboats in the same manner as it has been operated successfully for more than fifteen years before.
Rick and Ria believe in giving the best possible service and knowledgeable advice. They also believe that if a customer is not happy with the boat he or she bought, the boat should be returnable for a full refund if it is returned within 14 days.
And, like the previous owner, Rick and Ria also believe that one day a week be set aside for higher pursuits than making money. Consequently Quiet Waters Sailboats will continue to be closed on Sundays.
